About Me

Work experience, education, and interests.

GIS Professional | Environmental Scientist | Amateur Drone Pilot.

I am currently a student at the University of Washington Tacoma, pursuing my Masters of Science in Geospatial Technology. If all goes as planned, I will graduate in Fall of 2018. I also work as an Environmental Health Specialist at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. My team works to identify and correct sources of bacterial contamination in recreational swimming areas and commercial shellfish beds. We also monitor Pierce County lakes for potentially toxic cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) blooms. That's the really fancy way of saying I look for poop and slime for a living.

I've included a few of the highlights below, or you can check out my generic resume.
